Planetary healthcare - healthy food for patients, practitioners, and planet

Medical master students at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) attending the “Planetary Health - Focus on Healthcare” lecture and PAN DACH will explore how hospital food can become “planetary healthy”. Building on findings from interviews with patients and staff of the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen, the students will assess menus regarding both their nutritional value and sustainability criteria such as CO₂ emissions. They will then develop a practical concept for healthy and sustainable hospital meals.
