Franc Paysan: Urban Scaling – Creating local food habitats in cities

90% of Swiss population is willing to eat local and seasonal. There are however few incentives to do so. The Franc Paysan (FP) addresses this issue by supporting farmers offering direct sales while making local food more accessible. With more than 90 farmers and around 50k FP in circulation, a solid foundation has already been set. We want now to extend to cities. Our aim is to identify the best partners and strategies for proposing an attractive offering in cities, thereby strengthening local value chains.
