Farmers Drive Change

Farmers Drive Change tests whether farms can become visible entry points for local energy communities. An existing 73-kWp solar and large-scale battery project on a farm is linked to an electric vehicle and charging station used for local product deliveries. The goal is to develop a new standard product that enables farmers to become drivers of change in the energy transition. We evaluate whether this combination makes local energy projects easier to understand, more attractive and more replicable.
