Meggen Energy Community Lab

The Meggen Energy Community Lab explores how municipalities can empower citizens, businesses and local energy actors to make informed decisions about Local Energy Communities (LECs). Through interactive workshops, real energy data, scientific evaluation and Gridly, a decision-support tool developed by Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the project tests new approaches to participation, dialogue and community energy engagement and develops a transferable blueprint for Swiss municipalities.
