CEL1882 aims to create a local energy community in Gryon to maximise use of existing renewable energy through shared consumption. It addresses challenges in mountain villages—energy costs, tourism impact, and housing—by engaging residents, tenants, and tourists in new energy habits. The project will develop a scalable governance and business model for sustainable, inclusive energy use.
